It's very difficult to know if your toddler are having some ailments. As a young father, I often feel arduous to understand when my children throwing tantrum. Both of my children, age 4 and 3 years old, rarely show their anger.

But when they behave very strange, I know there is something wrong happen to them. So, months before, my 3 years old kid, Huzaifah had flu and fever. At first I thought he just had common flu. Then, we just treat and feed him just like usual. Get him drinks a plenty of water.

Soon, after three days, his conditions never get any better. He start coughing and having hard time to swallowing food. Sometimes, when the cough getting worst, he would vomit. I noticed there are something swollen inside his throat. Assuming that thing may relate to my kid's fever, I consult with the doctor.

At clinic, a doctor who gave the treatment told us Huzaifah had some problem with tonsil. That's the reason why he had show unusual fussiness and refuse to eat.

After treatment, we had been given antibiotics and acetaminophen.

I think it is important for parents to understand tonsilitis.
